If you are new to kettlebell training, contact us to schedule time for basic safety and technique training.
All Levels – These are our ongoing, mixed-level classes. Movements are scaled to your ability, and the exercise programming reflects our methodology. A combination of kettlebell and bodyweight exercises. (See What Goes Into Our Class Plans?).
Hybrid – This class is focused on balance, posture, breathing and ease of movement. Simple kettlebell exercises are included.
T’ai-Chi – We teach traditional Yang-style T’ai-Chi as moving meditation. The focus is on awareness, relaxation, and harmonious, whole-body movement.
Introduction to Kettlebells/Kettlebell Basics – This five-week introductory class takes you through the basic skills of kettlebell exercise. It is perfect for people who are new to weight training and challenging enough for people with exercise and strength-training experience. You must sign up in advance (see below under Special Series). We have been unable to run this series during the last year due to you-know-what. We plan to offer it again in the future.
Yoga – This ongoing course in Iyengar Yoga is taught by William Prottengeier. Members can participate in this class at a reduced price. Punch cards can be used, and drop-ins are available for non-members. This course is currently suspended. We hope to offer it again in the future.
